- 1 c. caramel sauce
- 1 pint (16 oz.) store-bought eggnog
- 4 oz. spiced rum
- Kosher salt
- Garnish (optional):
- Whipped cream
- Ground nutmeg
- Sea salt
- Cinnamon stick
Pour caramel sauce into a microwave-safe container and heat on high for 1 minute, stirring twice.
Drizzle the inside of your glassware with the warm caramel sauce.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, heat eggnog until warm.
Pour eggnog and spiced rum into glass. Add a pinch of salt and stir gently.
Garnish with whipped cream, a pinch each of nutmeg and sea salt, and pop in a cinnamon stick for looks.
Virgin version: This drink is so sweet, you don’t need to replace the rum with anything — just leave it out!
